The province of East Java borders the Java Sea to the north, the Bali Strait to the east, the Indian Ocean to the south, and the province of Central Java to the west. Bawean's Animism

There is no official record of their arrival in Malacca. Their children who were born in Malaysia have become Malaysian citizens. Some migrants who came from the 90s have received permanent resident status. Bawean society initially adhered to the teachings of animism & dynamism. Bawean Island in Gresik district was once ruled by a king who adhered to animism, namely King Babiliono. Until 1601, Bawean was controlled by King Babiliono who adhered to animism, then Islam entered Bawean under Sheikh Maulana Umar Masud since the Islamic government began to be established in Bawean, but there is no certainty regarding whether or not a Religious Court has been formed. His real name is Pangeran Perigi he is the grandson of Sunan Drajat. Based on historiographic records, it is stated that Umar Masud only succeeded in establishing the Islamic Kingdom in Bawean after defeating the ruler of Bawean who adhered to the teachings of animism & dynamism, namely King Babileono.
