Noaulu
Biodiversity is very important for the sustainability of the Indonesian nation's life. The Rutaceae / citrus family used consists of lime and Chinese lemon, the Lamiaceae family consists of miana leaves and cat's whiskers, while the Myrtaceae family consists of guava and cloves. Most of the Noaulu tribe comes from North Maluku, precisely Halmahera Island. It can be interpreted that Noahatan / Noaulu live in the Noa River's upper reaches. In the past, they still adhered to the custom of cutting off heads / headhunting like the Dayak people in Kalimantan. But since the 1970s they have not done it anymore after continuous socialization by the local government. We have collected 2 of the traditions that are still preserved by the Noalu tribe on Seram Island, namely pahahari & pinamou.
