Nafri's Animism


The following tribes inhabit the province of Papua, including the Nafri tribe. Because Jantewai died, his son Hamadi was appointed as ondoafi. Before the entry of Christianity and Islam into Jayapura, the Tobati tribe still adhered to animism/belief in ancestors.
